HOW GAMES ARE LOST!  I Thought You All Knew That?

At a recent practice, we were working defensive situations with the infielders.  The situation we were practicing was base runner on 3B with less than two outs.  The first baseman quickly throws the ball home to the catcher to tag the runner trying to score from 3B.  I stood there and watched as another coach hit ground balls, making sure that the fielder actually looked at the runner instead of giving those .10 of a second twist of the head in the general direction of the runner.
