Using the Bodies Torque in Hitting
By Paul Petricca
In our society innovations are commonplace. For example, break through in the computer industry have been so rapid over the past few years that many new ideas and products have become obsolete before their introduction to the marketplace. Meanwhile, innovations in sports have been few and far between. When was the last time someone introduced a new way to shoot a basketball that was accepted by players and coaches? When was the last time someone developed a new technique for throwing a football, or shooting a hockey puck, or hitting a tennis ball? It seems that everyone on cable television has invented the perfect golf swing, but if the scores of the average golfer are any indication, the only people benefiting from these so-called breakthroughs are the inventors themselves.
